Story
Coffee and Tea were just.....normal. That's what I grew up with. After high school, when I moved to Canada, work became non-negotiable, and I needed sustainable energy, crashes got harder, and jitters got worse.
I found matcha the same way most people do now — scrolling online. The beautiful green colour of it got me curious, soon it became a routine & then an obsession. Somewhere between Canada's coffee culture and its grass culture, I got addicted to tea leaves. The gorgeous green, soft, fresh & sweet-smelling powder.
When I came back home, the hype wasn't there — and the quality definitely wasn't. Most matcha I tried tasted flat, bitter, or performative. That didn't sit right with me.
And so, this started as a project.
I tested samples ruthlessly. Rejected most of them. I am usually very picky and indecisive — unless it just clicks. And one day I stopped my search, the day when I received the smoothest and brightest matcha- the kind you don't need to convince yourself to like. I care about what I sell and what I represent.
